Spent most of Saturday varnishing the middle toe rail on the Starboard side. The second mate had swimming lessons at 2 p.m. and we grabbed something to eat on the way back. I used the blue canvas as a tent again so the varnish wouldn't blister.
Scarlette's skipper has the following professional sailing certifications from the American Sailing Association: Basic Keelboating 101 and Coastal Cruising 103. Capt J also has a Japanese Category II boat license.
